Alice Carfrae
Alice Carfrae is an English photographer, videographer and director with a passion for social justice, humanity and beauty. She is currently based in Devon.
Carfrae completed a BA in Documentary Photography at the University of Wales Newport (now University of South Wales) (2011) and a Masters in International Multimedia Journalism at Beijing Foreign Studies University (2013). Her work is humanist, displaying a characteristic eye for light, colour and composition.
Carfrae has worked for clients including BBC Online, Go Pro, Aljazeera, Telegraph Magazine and The Guardian as well Vice and Vice Broadly. Her print work has been shown in galleries in Switzerland, England and China. She collaborated on a multi-media project with HELM Studio and PUKAR for The Ford Foundation and produced a multi-media theatre production on human trafficking for Bike Shed Theatre. Carfrae also shot and directed a music video for the band Hieronymo.
